Meet Lisa Nguyen, ARNP-BC
Lisa Nguyen, ARNP-BC is a graduate of Seattle University with a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Family Practice and is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Lisa completed her undergraduate work at the University of Washington - Bothell with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Human Rights and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seattle University.
Lisa is most passionate about preventive care and culturally competent care in underserved communities and has worked as a nurse practitioner in primary care for rural populations, with additional experience in urgent care, ambulatory neurology, and inpatient care for complex chronic conditions. With her diverse background, she completed an additional year of post-graduate training which included working with multidisciplinary teams across OB/GYN, pediatrics, orthopedics, cardiology, urology, and wound care. Though new to pain management, she is dedicated to being a life-long learner by staying current with evidence-based practices and putting the wellbeing of her patients first every visit, as she understands that pain is multifaceted and unique to every individual.
Based in Seattle, Washington, Lisa actively contributes to global health through volunteer work and program development in rural Vietnam. In her spare time, she enjoys taking workout classes, trying new foods, snowboarding, and camping her way through the Pacific Northwest with her family and their mini Australian shepherd.”
